FLOYD A. BUTLER

Floyd Alford Butler was born on May 18, 1886, at Pawnee City, and passed away on May 16, 1952, at his home in Pawnee City. He was the third of four children born to John L. and Jane Neill Butler.


On April 18, 1910, he was united in marriage to Gladys I. Goodridge of Pawnee City, at Marysville, Kans. To this union four children were born, two boys and two girls,, the oldest boy and girl being twins.


Following his marriage he engaged in farming near Pawnee city, the profession he followed until 1942, when he retired and moved to the family home in Pawnee City.


He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother and one sister. Surviving are his wife and four children, Donovan Butler of Hastings, Mrs. John Holman of Pawnee City, Mrs. Henry Tegtmeier of Bern, Kans., and Floyd Grail Butler of Hastings. He also leaves four grandsons and four granddaughters, a sister, Mrs. J. K. Waddell of Greeley, Colo., and many other relatives and friends.
