PARKERSBURG - Bessie Ruth McKitrick, 94, of Parkersburg died June 14, 2003, at Ohio Valley Health Care Center.

She was born in Dallison, W.Va., a daughter of the late Dan Jones and Clara Sharp Jones. She was a Christian by faith and was a homemaker for many years.

Survivors include a son, Roy and his wife, Vera Wilson, of Parkersburg; three grandchildren, Steve Wilson and his wife, Tara, of Houston, Robert Wilson and his wife, Amy, of Belpre and William Wilson and his wife, Bobbi, of Belpre; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, A.R. McKitrick; an infant son, Lee Wilson; four sisters, Helen Allen, Nellie Miller, Lena Smith and Merle Rowley.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg with Danny McVey officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Parkersburg. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home
