In 1940 Joseph and Elizabeth were living in the Wilmington, Delaware, area with their 9 month old son Joseph R. Joseph was working as a research chemist.∼Chemist. Worked at the Metallurgical (Met) Lab in Chicago and at the Oak Ridge Clinton Laboratories in the Manhattan Project during World War II.
