Harry Lear, 71, of 429 Williams St, Easton, died Tuesday, March 20 in Gracedale, the Northampton County Nursing Home in Upper Nazareth Township.
He was a maintenance man at Lafayette College in Easton, retiring in 1991 after many years.
Born Nov. 15, 1929, in Easton he was a son of the late John N. and Clara Gellock Lear.
He and his wife, the former Edith Miller, observed their 42nd anniversary in May.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Trudy M. of Staten Island NY; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
