Lena S. Ingersoll, 88, of DeRuyter Lake Road, Fabius, NY passed away Saturday, December 14. She was born in Cuyler, NY to Alpha & Louisa Snell. She and her husband, Bernal were married May 26, 1916 and raised their family on a farm near Gooseville Corners, which borders Highland Forest.

She was predeceased by her husband Bernal and an infant daughter, Shirley.

Lena is survived by her children, Elizabeth Wimer Buccini of Camden, NY; Beverly (Jim) Zirbel of New Woodstock, son Claude Ingersoll of New Woodstock, Claudia (Chub) Browngardt of Delphi Falls, NY. Also 17 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services at Smith Funeral Home, DeRuyter on December 17. Spring burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery.
