The Oregon death record, kindly supplied by one of our fine members (she did not wish to be named but THANKS TO HER), has her father written in as "Silas Bailey" (possibly her brother Cyrus, and may have been a mistake on the part of the informant. He would have been a child of six years at the time of Arminta's birth).
Her marriage record gave her parents as Thompson & Elizabeth, and she was included with their household as daughter in the Mercer county census of 1880). Her name is spelled "Araminta" in some records, but as the informant for her husband's death record, she placed her name as "Arminta", and her own death record has it as "Arminta", the informant Fanny Da Metz.
