Mr. Acton married Miss Hannah Nelson March 10, 1889. Their union was blessed with six children, one of whom died in infancy. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ora E. Todd, of Cincinnati, and Edith Acton of Woodstock; three sons, Everett D. Acton, Good Hope, Luther Acton of Woodstock, and James E. Acton of Cincinnati; and by ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He joined the Christian Church at the age of 17 and lived with his God and his fellowmen. A devoted husband and father, he will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
The funeral was at the Woodstock Baptist Church Saturday morning with burial in the Woodstock cemetery. The Rev. L.D. Fisher officiated at the services.
