Betty Huff Dies: Rites Are Slated
Peterstown - Mrs. Betty C. Huff, 61, died at her home here at 7:30 a.m. Friday. Death was attributed to an apparent heart attack.
Born at Webb, Jan. 8, 1908, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Polly Vanhoose Chaffins.
She was a member of the Peterstown Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, George E. Huff; a son of Petersbtown; a daughter at home; a brother, Gus Chaffins of Ballard; a sister, Mrs. Stella Pertee of Wilkinson, and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Broyles Funeral Home Chapel at Peterstown with Rev. Charles C. Jack in charge. Burial will be in the Peterstown Cemetery.
The body will remain at the funeral home where friends may call after 1 p.m. today.
Pallbearers will be W.P. Robbins, James Belcher, Home Chandler, Gordon Dillon, Melvin King and Hobart Christian. Women of the Baptist Church will carry flowers.
