Don Ragsdale, 78, of Paris, Mo., passed away Monday, Dec. 19, 2011, at University Hospital as a result of an automobile accident. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, at Agnew Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Holmes officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Mr. Ragsdale was born Jan. 1, 1933, in Perry, the son of Clyde E. and Florence Selsor Ragsdale. He married Sherry Mikel on Dec. 11, 1994, in Las Vegas, and they have been together for 35 years. She survives of the home. He was a liquor salesman for more than 40 years. He worked as a salesman for Paramount Liquor for 30 years and owned and operated Ragsdale Package Liquor for 10 years. He also owned and operated Don Ragsdale Cars for more than 40 years. Mr. Ragsdale was a former member of the Moose Lodge, Elk Club and Tiger Club of Missouri. Other survivors include his daughter, Terri Dawn (Donnie) Millard of Paris; two grandsons, Jared and Dillon Levings; three great-grandchildren, Kaden, Anthony and Bethany Levings; two sisters, Doris Ann Vaughn of Fulton and Betty Hayhurst of Holliday; one brother, John Ragsdale of Holliday; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son, Michael Martin; one grandson, Shawn Levings; and two brothers, Clyde Eugene and Rob Ragsdale.
