MRS. VIOLA BIXBY CORTLAND - Mrs. Viola M. Bixby, 79, of 28 Kellogg Road died Thursday morning at Memorial Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Briggs Memorial Home, the Rev. Kierstean of Homer Congregational Church officiating. Burial will be in Atwater Cemetery. Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Surviving are two sons, Francis J. of Grants Pass. Ore., and Donald L. of Little York: two daughters, Mrs Robert Dodd of Syracuse and Mrs. Howard Johnson of Washington Depot, Conn ; four grandchildren, a nephew, a great-nephew, and a great-niece. Born in Pittsfield, Mass., Mrs. Bixby lived most of her life in this area. Her husband, Clarence F . died in 1962.
