Donald L. Aaron, 73, of Charleston died Jan. 30, 1999, in Thomas Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

He was retired vice-president and secretary of Aaron Theaters Inc., which included West Theater, Kearse Theater, Capitol Theater, Village Theater, State Theater, Trail Drive Theater and Elkview Drive-in Theater. He attended Morris Memorial United Methodist Church, was a former member of Elks Lodge, past president of National Theater Association, an Army veteran of World War II and a lifelong resident of Charleston. He attended Morris Harvey College, University of Florida and was a graduate of Florida Military Academy. He was a member of Upper Kanawha Valley Rotary, Marmet.

Surviving: [two daughters], both of Charleston; three grandchildren.

Service will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Barlow-Bonsall Funeral Home, Charleston, with the Rev. Chuck Pullins officiating. Burial will be in B'nai Israel Cemetery, Charleston, with military graveside rites conducted by Gauley Bridge VFW Post 8366. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to American Red Cross, 1605 Virginia St., E., Charleston, WV 25311.
