FRANCES I. TITUS, 85 formerly of Athens RR 2, died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 1994, at the Robert Packer Hospital. Born in Ghent on June 22, 1908, she was the daughter of John and Hannah Bidlack Baxter. She was formerly employed as a nurse's aide at Davis Convalescent Home, East Athens. She was a member of the Litchfield United Methodist Church and a former member of Sheshequin Grange. She was predeceased by her husband, Roy Titus, in 1985. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Hugh Templeton, and foster children Gary Hasenfus of Mathews, N.C., and Jack Hasenfus of Florida; grandchildren, Lisa Evertts, Athens RR 2, Robert Templeton, Lewistown, Pa., Carla Lawton, Catawissa, Pa., and Larry Templeton, Athens RR 2; and four great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Lowery funeral Home, Athens, Saturday from noon until 2 p.m. at which time the funeral and committal services will be held with the Rev. Richard Shuster officiating.
