On December 8, 2011, Jeff was unexpectedly taken from this life. Jeff grew up in Winslow AZ. graduating with the Winslow Bulldogs class of 1982. He then entered the U.S. Navy and married his high school sweetheart Kristin. They spent 10 years in the Navy, where they together had two boys, Christopher M. Straub, Canon City, Colorado, and Scott A. Straub, Leesburg Florida. At the time of his death, Jeff was Married to Traci, had a son Logan, and adopted daughter Serina all of Gilbert AZ. He worked for the BNSF. He was proceeded in death by his mother Willy Straub, surviving are father James Straub and wife of Winslow, AZ, sisters Janet and (Doug) Hebert of Scottsdale, AZ, Rhonda Padilla of Prescott, AZ, and brother Jimmy Straub, Phoenix, AZ. Jeff is also survived by many niece's and nephews, including his niece and best friend Jonnie Lynn Tafoya. He will be missed by many, but forever lost are 3 small words to his son's Chris and Scott, "I Love You". Never let a day go by without your children knowing how you truly feel, for we are not promised tomorrow.
