Mr. Senger was born on Feb. 1, 1913 in Strasburg, N.D., the son of John and Veronica (Schnurr) Senger.
He went to school in Strasburg.
He worked in the CCC in 1933 at Rapid City and Bismarck, N.D.
He married Eleanor Gross in 1936 and to this union, two children were born, Joe and Rose.
He later married Juanita Pearson in 1954 and to this union two children were born, Charles J. who disappeared at the age of 9 and Danny.
Mr. Senger came to Miles City in 1942.
He worked for the railroad and later worked for Doyls Plumbing and Heating before retiring.
Mr. Senger moved into the T.L.C. Nursing Home in 1998 where he remained until the time of his death.
His hobbies included fishing, coin collecting and bowling. He also loved his family very much.
Mr. Senger is survived by his child, Danny Senger of Miles City, and sister-in-law Mildred (Don) West of Jordan, Mont.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Veronica; a son, Joe Senger, and a daughter, Rose; three brothers: Joe, Mike and John; two sisters, Eva and Barbara; and three stepsisters, Rose, Otilla and Matilla.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, Dec. 7 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Dec. 8, at 11 a.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City.
Interment followed in the Calvary Cemetery, Miles City, MT.
