Robert E. Lear, 66, 82 Fillmore St., Phillipsburg, died Thursday in Warren Hospital where he had been a patient since Feb. 8.
He was employed as a security guard for Globe Security Systems, working at Ingersoll-Rand Co. until 1979.
Born May 6, 1915, in Phillipsburg, he lived in the area all his life.
Mr. Lear was a member of Lt. Elbert Curtis Baker VFW Post 1290, Easton; John Dolak American Legion Post, Alpha, and the Easton Fleas Club. He served in the US Army during World War II.
