Earl E. 'Bud' Cloud, Aug. 28, 1940 - June 8, 2002, Earl E. "Bud" CLOUD, 61, 3414 N. Old U.S. 31, died unexpectedly at 4:06 p.m. Saturday at Woodlawn Hospital. Born in Benton Harbor, Mich., to Earl A. and Marcia ELLSWORTH CLOUD, he married Jean E. BRUCE Oct. 3, 1980, in Logansport. She survives. Mr. Cloud retired from Fulton County REMC as a line superintendent in 1998, after 33 years. He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. A 1959 Roch-ester High School graduate, he was a Master Gardener and enjoyed woodworking and fishing. Surviving with his wife, at home, are one daughter, Pamela HAMMEL and husband Bill, Plymouth; three sons, Michael [CLOUD] and wife Laura, Jeffery [CLOUD] and wife Deb, Ty [CLOUD] and wife Rita, all of Rochester; 10 grandchildren, Lee and Lucas SUTTON, Plymouth, Donna CLOUD, Elkhart, Misty, Nathan, Ryan and Amber CLOUD, all of Rochester, Andrew SCHLEIGER and wife Emily, Minneapolis, Minn., P.J. SCHLEIGER, Conway, S.C., and Erin CLOUD, Rochester; three sisters, Mary Lu HUDKINS and husband George, North Little Rock, Ark., Earline O'BLENIS and husband Bill, and Wanda TOWNSEND and husband Jack, all of Rochester; several nieces and nephews. Preceding in death were his parents. Services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester, with Rev. George HAPNER officiating. Burial will be at Richland Center IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home and one hour prior to services. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation, the American Heart Association or Home Health Care, Rochester.
