Mardella M. VanWyngarden, 89, of Manson died Monday, December 19, 2011, at the Pomeroy Care Center.
A Celebration of Life and Hope was conducted December 22, 2011, at Our Savior United Methodist Church in Manson. Burial was at Rose Hill Cemetery in Manson, Iowa.
Survivors include daughters Norma Langenwalter of Manson, Iowa; Janet Stoltzfus (Larry) of Parker, Colorado; Roberta (Ben) Juarez of Waverly, Iowa; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Colleen Egyen (Howard) of Lake Worth, Florida.
Mardella was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Alma Doster Omann, husbands Robert Abrahamson & Herb VanWyngarden and grandson Allen.
Mardella and Herb operated the Gamble Store in Manson for many years.
Mardella touched many lives over the years, and will be remembered as well as missed by many.
