Bluefield - Mrs. Beulah Edith Gearheart, 72, of 925 Union St., Bluefield, died Friday, May 29, 1998 in a Bluefield hospital.

Born September 7, 1925, in Bluefield, she was the daughter of the late John Wesley Cole, Sr. and Nannie Mae Snap Cole. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Bluefield.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Gearheart; two sons, Harry and James Gearheart; a daughter, Phoebe Barne; two brothers, Willie and Everett Cole; and one sister, Lucy Mae Cole.

Survivors include two sons, Henry S Gearheart of Bluefield and Tommy Gearheart of Ronoke, VA; one daughter, Peggy Lapral and her husband Dalfort of Roanoke, VA; one brother, John Wesley Cole, Jr of Morgton, N.C.; 26 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2pm from the Mercer Funeral Home Chapel in Bluefield with Rev. Larry B. Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Monte Vista Park Cemetery in Green Valley.
