William Herman Haddock, age 68, of Vendor, Arkansas died Friday, February 17, 1995, at North Arkansas Medical Center in Harrison, Arkansas.
He was born November 14, 1926 at Percetown, Arkansas the son of Walter and Zada Owens Haddock.
He was a retired School Administrator, Farmer and Construction Company Owner, a member of the Newton County Genealogical Society, Author of the Newton County Cemetery Book, a member of the Newton County Baptist Church, a member of the National Retired Teachers Association, a member of the AARP, the NRA, and the Newton County retired Teachers Association. He was also a life long resident of Newton County.
Survivors include his wife Alice Oleta Holt Haddock of the home: one son Donald Herman Haddock of Vendor, Arkansas; one sister Iris Haddock Smith of Vendor, Arkansas; one brother Glen Haddock of Rolla, Missouri; two granddaughters Jennifer and Jodi Haddock of Vendor, Arkansas; and many Nieces, Nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Wayne Haddock.
Services were Monday, February 20, 1995 at Big Creek Assembly of God with Dwight Craig, Rodney Stormlund, and Ken Chipman officiating. Burial was in Smith Cemetery under the direction of Christeson Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Robby Smith, Devoe Smith, Cornelious Smith, Ralph Day, Robert Reddell and Glen Holt.
Honorary Pallbearers were Clint Owens, Dennis Holt, Wes Stuart, Al Stuart, Sherman Villines and Willard Villines.
