She is survived by her two daughters, Janice G. Turner and husband Steve of Paducah, KY and Connie L. Hayden and husband Leland of Paducah, KY; son, Michael (Little Dog) D. Dixon and wife Angie of Hardin, KY; step-son, David Malone and wife Tina of Barnhart, MO; brother, Charles Melvin Simpson of West Paducah, KY; seven grandchildren, Leslie Summers of Jacksonville, FL, Wesley Cunningham and wife Starla of Vienna, IL, Karen Trimble and husband David of Paducah, KY, Brian Dixon of Paducah, KY, Wendy Dunigan of Hardin, KY, Nathanael Hayden and wife Sara of Louisville, Ky and Tara Hayden of Paducah, KY; step- grandchildren, Scott Malone, Amy Backues, and Lisa Huff; thirteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Ruby was preceded in death by her first husband, Orville Dixon, Jr. and her second husband, Norman Malone. Her parents were Henry Mason Simpson and Bessie Mae Johnson Simpson.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at the Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. James Keeling and the Rev. Leland Hayden officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
