Jimmy's middle name began with the initial "Y". Sometime later she lists her middle name as Lavon. Her middle name at birth may have been Yavon.

Died by a gunshot to the heart. Her husband Lloyd Kelton reported it as suicide, however Geraldine's family insisted it wasn't. An investigation ruled it a suicide. Lloyd later married his mistress Anas Fae Doty-Nunn, who had been Geraldine's best friend and was present at the home when Geraldine was shot.
Jimmy and Lloyd had been married 34 years. Their marriage was filled with chaos and physical abuse. Many a time Jimmy would leave Lloyd and stay with her sister Cleo, only to once again go back to Lloyd.
According to her sister Cleo Nunnelley-Zimmerman, on that fateful day, Jimmy and Lloyd were separated and Jimmy was living with Cleo and her family. Jimmy told her sister that she was going to her house (where Lloyd still lived) to pick up some belongings. Cleo begged her not to go. Jimmy went anyway, Lloyd was home and her best friend (Anas Faye Doty-Nunn) was there also with Lloyd, and Jimmy ended up dead. The family was insistent that Jimmy did not commit suicide. The gun was found underneath Jimmy's body. Lloyd was very connected with law enforcement.
Sometime later Lloyd and Anas Faye Doty-Nunn married. Later it appears they divorced, as Anas was buried next to her previous husband. At the time, Anas's ex-husband was still alive, however Anas and he had re-united prior to her death. Lloyd was still living.
And the rest is history.
