Mrs. Zelma N. VanDerWEELE, 61, Bradenton, Fla., died at 8:15 a.m. Friday in the Manitee Memorial hospital in Bradenton after a lengthy illness. She formerly lived in Argos.

She was born Sept. 26, 1912 in Vermillion county, Ill. She moved to Bradenton 16 years ago from Lewiston, Ida. She lived in Argos before that. She was married to Jack VanDerWEELE Nov. 4, 1930 in Covington, Ind.; he survives.

She was the daughter of Charles and Clara GILLILAND ALBRIGHT. She had worked at the Azbury Towers Methodist Retirement Home in Bradenton and was a member of the Bradenton First Methodist church and a former member of the Argos Eastern Star.

Surviving with the husband are a daughter, Mrs. Harold (Ann) LEMON, Seattle,Wash.; a son, Lynn [VanDerWEELE], Argos; seven grandchildren; a brother, Marvin [ALBRIGHT], Plymouth; a sister, Mrs. Joseph (Ruth) PAOLETTI, Wilmington, Ill.

Last rites will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Grossman funeral home at Argos with the Rev. Hubert CLEVENGER officiating. Burial will be in the Argos Maple Grove cemetery. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Sunday.
