Mr. A.C. Pierce, age 78, of Valera, passed away December 31, 2003 at the Coleman County Medical Center.
Son of the late Richard and Sally Sermons Pierce, he was born in Oklahoma on November 29, 1925. On July 16, 1955, he married Louella Boyd in Hobart, Oklahoma. Mr. Pierce was a resident of Coleman County since 1957, and he was a trucker.
He is survived by his wife, Louella Pierce of Valera; one son, Jack and wife Davida Pierce of Raton, NM; significant friends including Cindy and James Pelton of Santa Anna, Troy and Mindy Pierce of Hewitt and Casey and Shannon Pierce of Raton, MN. Also surviving are five great-grandchildren; and one great-great- grandchild.
Services are January 2, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. graveside in the Gouldbusk Cemetery and interment to follow under the direction of Walker Funeral Home of Coleman.
