Obituary: Jake Sapp
Arlee L. "Jake" Sapp, 67, of Ashland, died Tuesday, June 15, 1999, at Ashland Healthcare.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 18, at Robinson Funeral Home in Ashland with the Rev Mike Quinn officiating. Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 17, at the funeral home.
Mr. Sapp was born on Oct. 21, 1931, in Boone County to Gilbert and Dorothy Blythe Sapp.
He had worked with farmers in the Ashland area during hay season.
Survivors include three sisters, Frances Quinn of Ashland, Hallie Griffin and Bessie Jo Acton, both of Columbia.
He was preceded in death by five brothers.
