Charley I. Stewart was the son of Isaiah Stewart and Martha Jane Dooley.

Douglass Tribune - 24 Nov 1916

Charley Stewart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Isiah Stewart, of Nums, died at Lamar, Nebraska, last Saturday. Accompanied by his mother he had gone to western Nebraska some months ago in hopes that the climate might prove beneficial to him. A year ago he and his father went down into New Mexico, and returned in the spring much improved, but tuburculosis was still making inroads upon his vitality.

The remains arrived home Tuesday evening last. The funeral was held at the Christian Chapel near Bodarc, Wednesday, and the burial was at the Cumberland cemetery. He is survived by his parents and two sisters.
