Mrs. Irene Leona Miller, 29 of 1010 East Oak Street died at 2:10 o'clock this morning, September 30, 1960 at St. Vincent's Hospital where she had been a patient since July 5, she had been ill in health for two years.
Mrs. Miller was born in Taylorville on December 15, 1930, the daughter of Erza Richard and Myrtle Mallonee Reish. She was married to Dane Miller years ago. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church and employed as a nurses aide at St. Vincent Hospital prior to her illness.
Surviving are two children, Dane Alan Miller and Diana Lynn Miller, both at home. Three sisters, Mrs. James (Mary Ann) Noren of Taylorville, Mrs. Catherine Flemming of Butte, Montana and a half sister Mrs. Frances Rimmark of Blue Lake, Calfornia, three brothers, John Henry Reish of Losemead, California, Richard Reish of Verdi, Nevada and a half brother Roy Tyler Jr. of Blue Lake, California. One sister in law Mrs. Charles (Lucille) Reish of Assumption. Preceding in death are her parents and brother Charles.
Friend may call at Shafer Funeral Home after 7 o'clock Saturday night until the hour of the rites with the Rev. Fa. O'Dwyer will recite the Rosary at 8 o'clock Sunday night at the funeral home.
Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Fa. O'Dwyer officiating. Burial was made at Oak Hill Cemetery.
