Leonard Ray Swigert, 67-year-old resident of Doniphan, Missouri died Friday December 23, 2011 died at his residence. Mr. Swigert was born February 1, 1944, to the late Orville And Agnes (Smelser) Swigert.

He was played the guitar and was of the Baptist faith. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.

Surviving are one daughter: Judy Hart of Doniphan and four sons Tony (Roberta) Swigert, David Swigert and Zachary Swigert all of Doniphan, Jonathan Siwgert of Clarksville; two step-sons David and Danny Fritchley; one sister Pat Bliss of Grandin and two brothers Luin Swigert of Doniphan and Walter Swigert of Jackson, TN. And many good friends.

Mr. Swigert was preceded in death by his parents and sibling, Clifford Swigert.

Visitation will be held at Edwards Funeral Home, Inc, Thursday December 29, from 5:00-7:30 with a Funeral service Friday December 30, 2011. Brother John Payne will be officiating. Burial will be in the Grandin City Cemetery.
