T.M. Fair died at his home here Tuesday night, and the funeral services are being held this afternoon. Uncle Tommy was 92 years old the day he died and during the early years of Hardy was one of our most progressive business men. Of recent years he has been in poor health.

Thomas Mann Fair was born in Indiana county (sic), Pennsylvania, September 23, 1827, and died at Hardy, Nebraska, September 23, 1919, the day of his death being the 92nd anniversary of his birth. He was married to Catherine Berry, April 27th, 1848, and who died in 1919 (sic), to which union were born four children: a son, Wm. Frances, who lived to be seven years of age; a daughter, Carrie, who died at the age of one; and the daughters, Mrs. Sadie Glasock and Letitia (sic) Abbott of Superior. Mr. Thomas Fair had a sister, Sarah Jane, who died in 1852, and a brother Samuel, the father of Mr. James Fair of this city. Mr. Fair removed from Pennsylvania to Illinois in 1832, on to Kansas, in 1882, and has been a resident of Hardy since 1890. He was married to Mrs. (sic) Mary Keever September 15, 1896, who has been a faithful companion during his declining years, and now survives him.
