Marie was united in marriage to Vincent C. Paul September 15, 1936 at the St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Missouri. Vincent preceded his wife in death February 15, 1985.
Marie is survived by her loving and devoted daughters, Gayle Paul-Boyer of Boise, Idaho and Sandra M. Loomis of Webster Groves, Missouri; One Brother, Matthew "Boots" Koch and wife Iris of Old Mines, Missouri; Five Sisters, Ann Silliman of St. Ann, Missouri, Edna Ehrensing of Salem, Oregon, Monica Koch of Belmont, California, Dee Nephew and husband Vince of Old Mines, Missouri and Geraldine Koch of St. Louis, Missouri; Five Grandchildren, Rebecca, Sarah, Brendan, Sean and Kaleb; Three Great Grandchildren, Victoria, Brianna and Marcus.
In addition to her parents and husband, Marie was also preceded in death by Three brothers, Glennon Koch, Bernard Koch and Leo Koch; Six Sisters, Lucille Nephew, Maxine Vidusic, Joan Bucholz, Grace Paul, Amelia Jean Koch and Angela Mea Koch.
Marie was a longtime member of the St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Missouri where she was actively involved in its many activities. Marie and her husband were owners of the Mineral Area Bus Lines for many years. Marie enjoyed spending time in the outdoors and loved to pick wild berries. She would relax listening to classical music or sewing. Marie always looked forward to the time she could spend with her family, especially her grandchildren. Visitation was held Monday, December 8, 2003 from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and Tuesday, December 9, 2003 from 8:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri. A Funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at the St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Missouri with Father Ted Pieper Officiating. Music was provided by the Church Choir. Grave side services and Burial was in the St. Joachim Catholic Church Cemetery, Old Mines, Missouri. Serving as Pallbearers were Sean Loomis, Brendan Loomis, Kaleb Boyer, John Koch, Mark McReynolds and Tom Bone. Services were entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark St., Potosi, Missouri.
