He was born in the Quincy vicinity and lived most of his life in Waynesboro, going to West Palm Beach three years ago to make his home with his son, Walter. He operated a grocery and butcher shop on West Second Street For a number of years.
He was a member of the Methodist Church, of the Jr. O.U.A.M., and I.O.O.F. Lodge.
Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Carroll H. Wagner, Waynesboro; Mrs. Lester Lutz, Chambersburg; Cameron, Norfolk, Va.; and Walter, West Palm Beach; four grandchildren, one brother, Luther B. Bonebrake, Hagerstown; three sisters, Mrs. Rebecca F. Smith, Mrs. Roy Rice and Mrs. Katherine Cearfoss, Hagerstown.
