A snowfall at Iron Mountain was indirectly to blame for two deaths.
Patrice Carey, 18, of Sagola, and Gloria Bafille, 20, of Iron Mountain, were killed when their pickup truck collided with log-carrying truck-trailer.
Police said that snow churned up by a snow plow apparently obscured Carey's vision. The collision occurred 4 miles north of Iron Mountain.
