Frances E. Williams, 100, of 230 Maple St., Jersey Shore, died Sunday Dec. 18, 2011, in the Manor Care Health Center in Jersey Shore.
Born April 18, 1911, in Philipsburg, Pa., she was the daughter of John Hemsley and the former Frances E. Bradley.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband Walter L. Williams Nov. 13, 1994, they were united in marriage July 25, 1931.
She was also preceded in death by a son, John A. Williams.
For many years she was a member of the former Epworth United Methodist Church.
Surviving is a son, William H. (Doris) Williams of Jersey Shore; a daughter, Marie E. (Ken) Hoover of Germantown, Md.; five grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday Dec. 27, 2011, at 1 p.m. in the Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. Friends may call from noon Tuesday, until time of services in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Jersey Shore Cemetery. Rev. Gary Runtas will officiate.
