Rose, age 70, died at Parkland Health Center in Farmington. She was the daughter of Fred and Margaret Ann (Shipley) Cain. She married Henry Sylvester Adams on July 21, 1947. She married Harry John Torwegge on June 1, 1974.
She is survived by her mother, her daughters, Patsy Portell and Betty Whitaker, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and her siblings, Virgil Cain, Donald Cain, Billy Cain, Lindell Cain, Kenny Cain, Daniel Cain, and Goldie Boyer. She was preceded in death by both husbands, her father, her sons, Jerry Adams and Johnny Adams, and her granddaughter, Angela Jean Bourbon.
Funeral services were held at Moore Memorial Chapel in Potosi. Burial was in Horine Cemetery in Richwoods.
