Mr. Combs was born in Frankfort, Ohio, and had been a resident of Middletown more than 50 years. He was employed as a plumber by the McGraw Construction Company and was a past president of the Trades & Labor Council and past president and business representative of the Plumbers Union 510.
Surviving are his wife, Grace; one son, Garwood of Mason Rt.1; one daughter, Mrs. Gladys Remley of Eaton Rt. 4; a brother, Carl of Middletown; and three grandchildren.
Services will be held at the McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Monday, with the Rev. E. H. Hammon officiating. Burial will be in Middletown Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
