Prayers for Jean L. "Pug" Lowery (nee Stramalia), 78, formerly of Chicago, for 17 years, will be said at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, at Matz Funeral Home, 410 E. Rand Rd., Mount Prospect, proceeding to St. Alphonsus Church, for a Mass at 12 noon. Entombment will be in All Saints Mausoleum, Des Plaines. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
Born Oct. 11, 1928, in Chicago, she died Sunday, Jun. 24, 2007, at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of the Wheeling Seniors.
She was the beloved wife of Eugene; loving mother of Larry (Caryn) and Linda (Steven) Harnish; proud grandmother of Alex, Steven (Marie) and Shawn; fond great-grandmother of Elizabeth; dearest sister of Frances Jansen and the late Benjamin Stramalia, Camile Pryzchodni, Genevieve Perk, Amy Hucksoll and Lillian Hobson; and aunt of several loving nieces and nephews.
