Dies At Age 81
MIDDLEPORT- Mrs. Ida May Howes Cooper, 81, of 2750 Drum Road, widow of Scott P. Cooper, died Saturday in Medina Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient for the past week.
She was born Nov. 23, 1887 in the Town of Ridgeway. Her husband died in 1958.
Mrs. Cooper was a member of Hartland Baptist Church.
Surviving are five sons, Clifford and Benjamin Cooper, both of Lyndonville; LaVern Cooper of Gasport, Franklin and Donald Cooper, both of Middleport; five daughters, Mrs. Harold Arlington and Mrs. Floyd LaPort, both of Lockport; Mrs. Floyd White, Mrs. Melvin VanAuker and Mrs. Robert Kinne, all of Medina; also 33 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wallace & Heath Funeral Home Inc., State Street, Middleport, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow. The Rev. Harold G. Ball, pastor of Hartland Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Hartland Central Cemetery.
