He was a Member of the Riverside Baptist Church, of American Legion Post No. 184, and of Solomon's Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Florence Mitchell Odum: his Mother, Lottie W. Odum of Savannah: a Brother, thomas R. Odum of Charleston: Four Sisters; Mrs.Reba Phillips, MRs. Marian Miles and Mrs. Johnnie Bailey of Savannah, and Mrs.Wanda Moreland of Forest Villa, Maryland; a half brother, Rufus L.Odum of Odum; and four half sisters Mrs. Claude Leonard of Savannah, Miss Iver Odum of California and Mrs.Margaret Withsom and Mrs. Murlie Heirs both of Odum. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 4:30pm at the Riverside Baptist Church. Fox and weeks Funeral Home is in Charge.
