Graveside services were held Tuesday at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Ray Starnes officiating. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
Born February 18, 1909, in Paris, the son of Dr. Thomas B. Bryan and Victoria Griffis Bryan, he attended Paris schools.
He received his B.A. degree in geology and mining from the University of Texas with honors.
He was a member of the MARINE CORPS during WW II.
In 1949 he married Edith Wilma Davis in Fort Worth.
He is survived by his wife and the following cousins, Mrs. Daisy Holt Schwartz, Tom Holt, Mrs. John D. King, Mr. L.P. Griffis, Mrs. Wilson Norris, all of Paris, and Joe Griffis of Dallas.
