GLENNVILLE -- Marcus Faircloth, 82, died Jan. 15 at home.
The Tattnall County native was a member of Glennville United Methodist Church and a 1937 graduate of Glennville High School. He served as a first lieutenant in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a member of the Sheriffs Association.
SURVIVORS: his wife, Velma B. Faircloth of Glennville; three daughters, Nancy Woodward of Burton, S.C., Yvonne McGaughey of Las Vegas and Sally Browning of Savannah; three sons, Victor Love of Claxton, Keith Love of Glennville and Mark Jones Faircloth of Virginia; two sisters, Hazel Pursley of Midway and Lyndal Hozek of Minneola, Fla.; a brother, James Faircloth of Glennville; and 14 grandchildren.
VISITATION: 6-8 p.m. today at Cobb Funeral Home, Glennville Chapel.
FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cobb Funeral Home, Glennville Chapel, burial in Glenville City Cemetery.
