Bert A. Archer, 42 years of age, died at his home near Hadley, December 13, following an illness since May. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Hadley Friends church with burial in the Amo cemetery. The widow, formerly Minnie Cooper, and five children survive, also the mother, Mrs. Mary Guess, four brothers and two sisters. He was born and raised near Pecksburg and was a member of the old Lutheran church of that place.
