DIES FOLLOWING HEART ATTACK
Roy W. Whomble 54, 320 So. Okmulgee, died
yesterday afternoon from a heart attack , he
suffered whileworking north of the city with
the state highway department.
Mr. Whomble came to Okmulgee in 1900 from
Tecumseh, Okla. He has be an employee of
the highway department for a number of years.
Survivors include the wife, Mrs, Sarah E.
Whomble, of the home address, a Daughter,
Mrs. Marie Byford, 216 1/2 West Sixth,
two sons, Othel, Route 1 Morris and
Harold (Bus) Whomble, 923 N. Alabama, a
Sister Mrs. Maude McCart, Reno, Nev.,
a brother, Harry, 1301 No. Okmulgee,
and 6 grandchildren.
Interment will be in Beggs, cemetery
