"Donald I. Burton, 59, of 625 Tioga Ave. Kingston, died Saturday morning at 3:55 in Mercy Hospital.
Born in Bethlehem, he moved to this area as a boy and was a graduate of Ashley High School, Class of 1932. He was employed as a machinist by the Multiplex Manufacturing Company, Berwick, and later by the W. L. Maxson Manufacturing Company, Old Forge, retiring in 1966 because of ill health.
Mr. Burton was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Wilkes-Barre.
Surviving are his widow, the former Doris Ogin; son, -----, student at Wyoming Valley West High School; brother James, New York City.
Funeral will be from the H. Merritt Hughes Funeral Home, 451 N. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, Tuesday at 11 with Rev. James C. Papada, pastor of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church officiating. Burial in Dorrance Cemetery.
