According to the 1910 Federal Census, Thomas (Tom) was living with his youngest son, William Lewis Alexander Hood in Turner Township, McIntosh County, Oklahoma. He was a widower. He cannot be found on a 1920 census, so it is presumed that he passed between 1910 and 1920.

It is also presumed (by me) that Thomas and his wife, Martha Ann, are the Mr and Mrs Hood buried at Lerblance Cemetery and relocated to Greenlawn Cemetery when Eufala Lake was established. They would be buried in one of the unmarked graves in Section I.
