STEELEVILLE - Nora D. Richelman, 93, of Steeleville, passed away at 4:10pm Friday, December 23, 2011, at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home, Chester, Illinois.
Nora was born September 10, 1918 in Percy, Illinois, the daughter of Henry and Anna Meyerhoff Troue. She married Paul L. Richelman on May 20, 1944 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Wine Hill, Illinois. He preceded her in death on January 11, 2004.
Nora was retired from Gilster Mary Lee Corporation where she worked as a packer. Nora was very active in church affairs and functions. She was a caring and loving woman of great faith and will be missed by all.
Nora is survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 5 brothers, Arthur Troue, Harold Troue, Herbert Troue, Omer Troue and Elmer Troue.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 2PM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Wine Hill with the Rev. Tim B. Zechiel officiating. Burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery in Steeleville. Visitation will be at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville on Monday from 5 to 7pm and on Tuesday from 7:30 to Noon and also at St. Paul's Lutheran Church from 1 to 2pm. The preferred form of remembrance is contributions to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
