Andy Barney on December 26, 2011, age 89, of Pennsauken, NJ. He was the beloved husband of the late Norma (nee Friant) and father of Carol (Tom) Park of Fayetteville, NC, David of Bellmawr, Stephen (Seigo) of Pennsauken, Michael (Angela) of CA, and the late Andrew Barany. He is also survived by one daughter-in-law Carole Barany of Audubon Park, two grandsons Jackson Barany and Edward Duffy; great-granddaughter Autumn Duffy and 6 other great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
Mr. Barany was a retired carpenter for RCA, a member of St. Peter's Knights of Columbus Council #6735, a member of the American Legion F.W. Grigg Post #68 Merchantville, and a WWII US Navy veteran. He was also active in the Boy Scouts in Camden County serving as a scout leader and receiving the Silver Beaver Award which is the highest honor in scouting.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Monday morning at 9:00 AM in the ALLOWAY FUNERAL HOME, 315 E. Maple Ave., Merchantville, NJ. Funeral Mass 10:00 AM St. Peter Church Merchantville, NJ. Interment Locustwood Memorial Park. There will be a viewing Sunday evening from 7:00-9:00 PM in the funeral home.
