William Alexander Juhan was born on August 17, 1827, in Clinton, Jones County, Georgia to Isaac Bourdeaux and Susannah "Susan" Johnson Juhan. His siblings were Melvina, Susan Elizabeth and half sister, Martha Elizabeth Juhan. There maybe more but this is what I know for sure.
On July 1, 1858, William married Elizabeth Jane Brooks Caldwell. Together they had seven children and they were William Jefferson, Susan Matilda, Mary Lizzie, Charles Joseph, John B Ross "Jack", Francis Lee, and Louis Nottingham Juhan.
In 1846, William and his children had to bury Susan. On December 4, 1893, at the age of 66, William Alexander Juhan passed away.
