John J. Anzich, 86, of Ely died Sunday, Jan. 25, 1998, in Cloquet Community Memorial Hospital.
He was born on June 6, 1911, in Ely, to John and Mary Anzich and was a lifelong resident. He was a logger for most of his life in the Ely area and also worked for Reserve Mining Company until its closing.
He was a member of the Ely Moose Lodge.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.
Burial was in Ely Cemetery.
