Donald Giles Fisher, 49, of Easley, SC died Sunday.
Mr. Fisher was born in Aiken and had lived in Easley for 16 months.
He received his BA in Art from USC and was of the Presbyterian faith. He received the Art Purchase Award in 2003 from the county of Burlington, NJ, was an Art Therapist, was a member of the Artist Guild and his artwork was sold in Greenwood, Hilton Head, New Jersey and to the Merrill Lynch Corporation.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Adele Durban Fisher.
Survivors include his father, David Yount Fisher, Aiken; brothers, David Yount Fisher, Jr., Easley, Kenneth George Fisher, Warrennville, Stephen Wayne Fisher, Wilmington, NC; nieces and nephews, Jessica Foster, Madison Fisher, Luke Fisher, and Cameron Fisher.
Visitation will be Tuesday 6-8 pm at Shellhouse Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Wednesday 11 am at the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Martha Ebel officiating. Interment will follow in Bethany Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Elizabeth House 581 S. Allen Rd. Flat Rock, NC 28731.
