Jennie I. Aliesky
Jennie I. Aliesky, 90, Salina, died 1 Monday, Feb. 18, 1991, at the Pinnacle Care Center, Salina. Mrs. Aliesky was born Jennie I. Goodall on May 7, 1900, at Salina and had been a lifelong resident of the area. She had been a dispatcher for the Radio Cab Co. and was a member of Eagles Auxiliary, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Her husband, John, died in 1972, and a daughter, Leona Parker, died in 1958.
Survivors include three sons, Don Carlson and Roger Carlson, both of Salina, and Earl Carlson of Colbert, Okla.; three daughters, Vera Mason of Las Vegas, Nev., Joann Guttry of Paso Robles, Calif., and Carolyn Minton of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Bigge-Moos Chapel Funeral Home, the Rev. Gary White officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to the Eagles Cancer Fund or the Alzheimer’s disease and Related Disorders Association.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
