Obituary extract from the Terre Haute Tribune-Star, dated October 25, 2006:

Thomas Henry Brenton, 30, of Rosedale, died at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006, in Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, due to injuries from a construction accident.

Tom was born in Torrance, Calif., Oct. 27, 1975, to Jerry and Cynthia Richards Brenton. He was a graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School where he played coronet in the band and jazz band. Tom also played youth football from 1988 through 1990 in Vigo County. He was the youngest child of seven and will be sadly missed.

He is survived by his parents of Rosedale; children, Thomas Jr., KayLee, and Rhonda Brenton of Terre Haute; brothers and sisters, Jerry Jr. and his wife, Maria Brenton of Indianapolis, Jennifer Brenton of Rosedale, Hazel Brenton of Brazil, Deborah Rogers of Rosedale, Nickie Brenton of Terre Haute, Scott and his wife, Cornelia Brenton of Rosedale; companion, Loretta Forbes of Rosedale; three aunts, Liz, Maude Evelyn, and Mary Ellen; two uncles, Gilbert and Jack; and numerous nieces and nephews, Tom was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hazel and Thomas Brenton and Virginia and Henry Richards.
